Early morning orb - from the beach

After a rather hot night in late July 2001, I went down to the beach before dawn, and set up the camera to watch for any activity in the direction of where I have seen ORBS in the past. I had everything set up around 04.00 am as I wanted to observe prior to when any normal aircraft activity would be evident in the area of Pearson International Airport. Most late night flights have arrived by 01.30 am and nothing much is logged in the morning until 06.00 am. Thus, I estimated my window of observation to be approximately 5 hours at most.

Regrettably, I don't recall the exact date of this event, but the time was approximately 05.15 am. These four photographs were taken with the Pentax MZ-7, 300 mm lens, and Fujicolor 800 film. The small frames are cropped/blow-ups of the light ball, and apologies for the annoying third photograph not lining up properly on the page.
