These photographs below were taken with the Pentax MZ-7 SLR camera attached to the back of the Celestron 8" reflector telescope. Film being used was Fuji Color 800.
The field location was the south shore of Lake Ontario. The distant shoreline (with a few visible horizon lights) is 32.5 miles from my field location. The lights were descending somewhat west of the Toronto skyline. Pearson International Airport is 40 miles from my field location. |
The double light grew an extra light in the middle.
Separate lights are more clearly visible in the video frames below.
